This photo reminds me of the movie that i have yet to go and see. "Avatar" Apparently, i have not yet heard one negative thing about this film. Everyone says to go and see it. Well, perhaps next weekend i will do that. I has to be good when you hear someone wanting to go see it a seocnd time!

January 29, 2010 - Direction???

Is this train coming or going? Could the photograph be reversed to confuse you? Life can sure be like that sometimes. Too much noise to filter out what you need to hear. Confusing signals. Have you ever hiked a path that was not well marked? Sometimes one path would meet another and you would be standing looking at both paths trying to figure out which is the right one to take. In some cases, we can only try a path to see where it leads and if not where we want to go, then we backtrack and take the other path.

January 26, 2010 - Return to Work For Now

Ready? Set? Go!!! The countdown is on and the 3 day weekend agains winds down to a close. 2010 thoughts are taken up with fulltime Rving... I sure see some cheap motorhomes listed online here. Is it the price of gas that makes them so cheap or are they junk? Hmmmm... Rv show is next weekend so perhaps it is time to take a closer look. Since there were no road trips, major ones, since 2004, i think that it is time to consider one, but a long one this time to make up for the lack of them!

So nice, day 4 of the 4 day work week, so 3 days off coming starting with today! Each day seems to be partly taken up with some planned event to attend to. Sometimes it is nice to have a whole day where you just stay home to veg! On with the show!

January 22, 2010 - Jack Frost

Jack Frost and Mr.Fog were in full force tonight. It does make for some good photo opportunities! Yesterday, we had the fog as well, but tonight the temperature went down further. This month of January is just flying right along! Wow!

January 21, 2010 - The Big Selloff Begins!

Today's task is to cash in and close out all the retirement savings plans. Game over, and to pay off the bills. Being debt free is on the way. Short term pain for long term gain and freedom is on the way. Freedom to travel full time! Freedom to end the job to enjoy that freedom.

January 19, 2010 - Tuesday is My Monday

Monday is the first day of the week and the last day of my 3 days off! Well, a day off is really a day to do other kinds of work. I don't believe for a second that retirement means not doing anything, but quite the opposite! Here is a video of some who think that they would like to retire and sleep the day away! Having my Monday on a Friday this week! Ever had one of those days where nothing wants to go right or fall in to place like you would like it to? Glad to see the end of it and a 3 day weekend off work begins! Hurray!

January 14, 2010 - Mid Month

We are really moving right along into January coming up to the middle of the month already! This is the beginning of a whole new decade. For me, i think that it will get very interesting this year as the regrouping continues to take place. It seems that is all i try to do over the last few years even. Still itching to hit the road again. I think that the next be road trip now will likely last for years. I have been without for so long that it is time to make up for being stuck going nowhere. My thoughts for the year are following the course of making the ducks line up in order to do that.

Have not had a blues day for some time. A day to look at the future and see a long period of the dark ages approaching unless something gives. Sometimes in life you just have to take one day at a time and see what happens instead of trying to make a solid plan when you are not on solid ground.

And so today i was thinking along the lines again about producing some financial videos. I have ideas that are not in any financial books that i have ever come across. Is the world ready for some secrets that are nearly 30yrs old now? Are they ready for some financial styling i wonder? Well, i have to take it from the thought stage to the action stage to see it happen next.

January 6, 2010 - Brrrr Today!!!

The snow fell, the temperature dropped, the accidents were happening. Another winter day! I wonder what happened to the chinooks that we use to get here??? Maybe a sign that it is time to move on? Or maybe to take a long winter vacation from now on?

January 5, 2010 - Back to Work!

The 4 day weekend is over and now it is time to return to work! Oh well, on with the New Year! Trying to take a fresh look at setting up goals and trying to figure out just where life will take me in this new year. Today is the first day of the rest of your life as the saying goes. Well, got to make the most of it and yet find a way to return to doing more road trips. Next, i will return to the 2004 cross country trip to create many added videos of the journey. I have 12 hrs of videos to pick from!

January 4, 2010 - Coffee Meeting Tonight

January 3, 2010 - 3 Days Into the New Year!

Oh look! Split personalities! I had taken one of those how you think quizes and i scored pretty much in the center. That meaning a well balanced thinker. But on the other side of the coin, being in the middle makes it hard to make a decision as you are neither right or left. And that i found to be very true. When you list the pluses and the minuses, you end up stuck in the middle where you are unable to make a decision. Some of the quizes out there are pretty accurate!

January 2, 2010 - A New Look!

January 2nd now! Moving right along with a whole new decade! I was long overdue to get a haircut and so i did today! This year will be the deciding year as to how the decade will go! I have a plan A and a plan B just incase plan A doesn't work out!
